How we look after what you share

Gap Business Strategy and Advisory is the responsible party for the personal information you share through this questionnaire, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your contact details, information about your business, your voice recordings and any written answers.

Why we collect it

Only to prepare for and provide advisory services to you. We do not sell or share your information for marketing. Your recordings are listened to by our advisers. We do not use AI transcription or analysis on your recordings.

How it's protected

Recordings are stored in private, encrypted storage and can only be opened by authorised advisers through short-lived secure links. Your questionnaire is linked to a private key held only in your browser and your personal resume link, which expires after 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your submission for as long as we're working with you, and delete it no later than 24 months after our last engagement unless the law requires otherwise.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. While your resume link is active you can delete everything yourself from the questionnaire. You can also ask us directly, and you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
